Technology has advanced a lot. Robots are slowly making an entry into our daily lives, and here is an example of it. The Dyson 360 Eye Robotic Vacuum cleaner is here to stay. This is Dyson’s very first robotic vacuum. As it comes from Dyson, we sure had a lot of expectations, and it did deliver.
It is powerful and comes with Radial Root Cyclone Technology, which picks up microscopic dirt and dust. Maybe we can finally just give up the boring task of cleaning the whole house and let the robots take over.
Features of Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum
The vacuum cleaner weighs 5.38 pounds and is used on both hard floors and carpets. It is compact and is soundless. Being Robotic is a whole feature in itself. But there are other robotic vacuums out there. What makes the Dyson 360 special?
360-degree vision
The center of the top is the ‘eye’ of the Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum cleaner. This has a 360-degree view, which helps it navigate around your house. This eye is also what brings it back to its dock to get recharged. If I ever wanted to change the direction it is going towards, I would just place my foot to direct it in that way.
Full-width brush bar
The whole width of the vacuum is covered with the brush bar, which does a great job of cleaning. It comes with carbon fiber filaments that efficiently does the job. The nylon bristles are good enough for hard floors and carpet areas. It has caterpillar tracks that can go over small bumps easily.
Detachable parts
Cleaning the previous vacuum cleaner I had was difficult. Whatever I could clean, I would, and the rest, I just couldn’t do anything. And as parts of it got dusty and spoilt, I just had to replace the parts. This vacuum has detachable parts making it much easier to clean and maintain, and it increases the lifespan of the parts.
Compact build
The thing with robotic vacuum cleaners is that it needs to fit into compact spaces. Hence, the Dyson 360 eye comes with a compact build. It is 23cms wide and can easily get through narrow spaces. This makes it 12cms narrower than its competition, the Roomba. The Dyson 360 Eye is 12cms tall, which makes it 3cms taller than the Roomba.
Digital motor
The Dyson 360 Eye has a digital motor v2 that is small and light and generates powerful suction. This facilitates efficient cleaning and will leave your house looking spick and span.
The vacuum cleaner also follows a systematic cleaning pattern that makes sure that it can clean every corner that it can reach. It promises twice the suction compared to any other robot vacuum cleaner. The tank tracks help the vacuum cleaner move around on any kind of surface.
Charging dock
This charging dock needs to be set up against a wall. Choose this position wisely as the vacuum is usually docked and will stay there for most of the time. It needs a plug point close by, and whenever the vacuum exhausts its battery, the eye will navigate it to the dock. It takes approximately two and a half hours to get charged.
Companion app
The vacuum comes with an app that can be downloaded on your android or iPhone. Thankfully everything can be controlled via this app. You will not have to be physically present to press down buttons on your vacuum cleaner. You can set the vacuum at the same time every day or at different times according to your convenience.
Benefits of Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum
The Dyson 360 Eye is compact, and it matched perfectly with the layout of my house. The fact that it is a little taller than the Roomba did not matter to me. The charging station is pretty small and does not take up much space. It can be installed anywhere near a plug point. The charged battery can last up to 45 minutes, and then it goes back to the base station to charge.
The suction of the Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum is powerful and captures a great deal of dust and other rubbish. I used the vacuum in a small area to test it out at first, and I was really surprised by the cleaning. The brush manages to clean over any surface, whether it is hardwood or carpets.
The dust bin needs to be emptied once it fills up. I like that the application notifies you once the bin is full. The 360- degree eye is great, but sometimes the vacuum cleaner ends up bumping into small or thin objects around.

Dyson 360 Eye review
Most of the users claim that the vacuum cleaner is a step ahead of the other robotic vacuum cleaners. The amount of dust that it collects satisfy the owners. The bin and the brush are really easy to clean. Even though it is a little pricey, it is worth the money.
You will have to move small objects off of the floor before using the vacuum as it can get stuck on these. Setting the whole thing up is relatively easy as well.
